About the Marketplace

The Scottish Association of Motor Sports Clubs (SAMSC) is a Regional Association of Motorsport UK.

Motorsport UK has 14 Regional Associations representing around 700 member clubs. These Regional Associations allow Motorsport UK to provide guidance and support to clubs, and also allow clubs to provide feedback to Motorsport UK.

SAMSC is the largest Regional Association, covering over 30,000 square miles and bringing together Motor Clubs from across the whole of Scotland and beyond.

- We seek to develop our sport across the area for the collective good of our clubs, competitors and volunteers.

- We coordinate, support and promote regional competition through championships, calendar management, and collaboration between clubs and event.

- We support each other in the organisation and promotion of events.

- We are a collective voice in the two-way dialogue with Motorsport UK, our governing body.

- We coordinate and promote training and volunteer support.

- Clubs coming together and talking to each other is a great way of sharing knowledge and experience.

As part of our sustainability strategy, we want to encourage Clubs to take any opportunity to Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Rethink, Refuse, and Repair.

The SAMSC Marketplace (this site) is a "Classified Ads" platform. It's like Gumtree, PreLoved or Facebook Marketplace - but with a specific focus on motorsport.

- Items and services can be listed for sale, for a donation, or "free to a good home".

- Offers of and requests for car sharing can be listed.

- Descriptions of items on this site are provided by and are the responsibility of the vendors/donors.
